"I have always enjoyed and excelled in math and physics. This was a major factor in my decision to study mechanical engineering at Arizona State University, where I graduated magna cum laude. During a portion of my time at ASU, I worked as a student tutor in the engineering tutoring center where I helped fellow students understand homework and test problems. In addition, I have tutored multiple high school students in math or physics on a private basis.

I strive to not only explain concepts in ways that make sense to the student, but to also help train him/her in how to think and approach problems. I do my best to encourage students and provide a positive attitude in midst of the frustration and dread that many times develops while studying these subjects.
