"I am a North Carolina licensed educator with over fifteen years of experience supporting students from Pre-K through high school. I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in English, Education, and Theatre Arts and am licensed in English Language Arts and Theatre Arts. My professional background includes extensive training in evidence-based literacy instruction, including the Science of Reading, Lexia LETRS, Reading Foundations, and research-based reading intervention practices. I also have training and experience implementing Singapore Math, a curriculum that emphasizes deep conceptual understanding through a Concrete-Pictorial-Abstract approach to support students struggling with foundational math skills in grades K–5. Throughout my career, I have worked with students across a wide range of abilities, including those who struggle with reading, writing, and math.
