"I'm Lucas! I graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor's of Science in human biology and a minor in nutrition from North Carolina State University. I played goalkeeper for the varsity men's soccer team during this time. I was inducted into the National College Athlete Honor Society and was part of the ACC All-Academic team. During my college experience, I was fortunate to have access to tutors who helped me through those difficult classes. Now that I have that knowledge, I want to provide in the same way as they did for me. I believe tutoring 1-on-1 to be one of the best ways to learn and freely ask questions. I am here to establish connections and make students feel comfortable asking as many questions as it takes to understand the topics at hand fully.

I taught elementary school kids how to read and write through volunteering within the community for a year. I am patient and caring. I now want to tutor elementary, middle, high school, and college students, specifically in the sciences, because that is my area of expertise. Preparing for further schooling has allowed me to master chemistry, biology, psychology, physics, and biochemistry at the high school and college levels.
