Hello, I am a Nursing Professor in a BSN University setting for the last 13 years and a Nurse Practitioner. I have over 30 years of nursing experience in many inpatient and outpatient community settings. I have tutored on Wyzant's platform for over four years now to help all levels of nursing students. Nursing education allows me to teach and facilitate learning in various client care settings to prepare students to be safe, competent nurses caring for clients today and in the future. As a nurse educator, nurturing a diverse community of learners by establishing a relationship with the student learner and engaging the student to realize their potential and success. It enables me to influence the lives of others and assist in the learning process.

I facilitate and lead the Next Generation NCLEX-RN (NGN) preparation courses and seminars for senior-level nursing students for three programs at my University. I consult with other Universities to help their students with a plan for success. I currently work with students preparing for the NCLEX examination and have been for 13 years. Helping students understand content with evidence-based literature to increase critical thinking, clinical reasoning, and clinical judgment is so important for the Next Generation NCLEX (NGN).
