"I’m Hanna! I recently graduated from the University of California, San Diego with an honors B.S. in Neurobiology, Summa Cum Laude (4.000 GPA), and Phi Beta Kappa. During my undergraduate career, I tutored a range of science courses at the college level, including biology and neuroscience, as well as elementary-level math. I have worked with students of varying ages and academic backgrounds, both one-on-one and in small-group settings, adapting my approach to each student’s learning style and goals.

In addition to tutoring, I spent over three years conducting research in an Alzheimer’s disease laboratory, where I developed a strong foundation in experimental design, data analysis, and scientific reasoning. I also have experience as an MCAT tutor, helping students strengthen their understanding of core science concepts while learning how to apply them in a test-taking context. These experiences have shaped my teaching style: I focus on building conceptual understanding first, then reinforcing it through practice, problem-solving, and real-world examples.
