"I am a third-year student majoring in Neuroscience at the University of Texas at Austin (UT Austin). I have earned placement into the Dean's Honors program at UT Austin, serving as a recognition for exceptional scholarly achievements in high school.
As a high school student, I secured a >3.9 GPA and 1500+ score on SAT. I was also enrolled in the rigorous and fast-paced Cambridge Assessments International Program, which is similar to the AP/IB curriculum. I was among a small group of students in the state of Washington to receive an outstanding student award for earning top scores on AS/A level exams.
I realize that every student has different educational needs, so one pre-determined teaching style is not a suitable option for tutoring. I adopt a student-centered, personalized teaching approach empowering students to take command of their learning experience. I believe that every student has the potential to succeed in their academic journey. My responsibility as a tutor will be to help you carve the path to your success one question and one concept at a time. I also value flexibility which means I am more than happy to answer any of your questions, discuss projects or assignments, or provide career advice. You will be the person to take lead of your learning experience and I will ensure that you make that happen.
I teach high school students, and my subject focus areas for tutoring are as follows
1. Mathematics: Algebra, pre-calculus, calculus AB/BC.
2. Biology (non-AP & AP).
3. SAT: Math, reading, and grammar.
I look forward to supporting you with your academics. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me." less...
