"As a neuroscience PhD with 10+ years of teaching experience, I specialize in making complex scientific concepts accessible and engaging. At UC Davis, I taught 200+ undergraduate students introductory neurobiology, developed course material, led discussions and review sessions, and managed course logistics as lead TA from 2012-2016. I was also a TA for cellular biology and a programming lab course, quantitative biology. Outside of the classroom, I have mentored 15+ undergraduate students on independent research projects at UC Davis and Virginia Tech, and been involved with a lot of public outreach events.

Beyond science, I'm also a writer passionate about helping students develop their English and creative writing skills, whether they're ESL learners or native speakers looking to strengthen their craft.
