is really a combination of student motivation and teacher stimulation.

You can make teaching fun and interesting. It separates those who become life-long learners and those who learn by "rote". I have been teaching for over 15 years in different capacities. My college experience in teaching at Sussex County College, Newton, NJ, showed me how 90% of successful learning is based on attitude and student motivation. Stimulation seems to be a "given" with most college students; they want to be there.

Attitude is essential whether you are teaching in elementary grades or college courses. Scientifically, there are many studies done, which show a control group and a random group of students who are told they are the "best and brightest" in their class. Students from both groups are given I.Q. Tests (Subject tests, personality tests, etc.) and 99% of the time, the group labeled "brightest" scored the

highest (even though they were ALL picked at random). Most students of all levels succeeded their expectations and those of their teachers/professors.

I have my NJ Teaching License, and have been teaching for over 20 years. My credentials include Professor at Sussex County Community College, and Math Teacher for Hamburg Public Schools. I tutored Algebra and Middle School Math, and am currently a Substitute for Sparta Middle School and High School for the past 14 years.
