I believe that one learns by doing. Number Crunching some examples is the best way to improve one's understanding of accounting methods. I'm a visual tutor - l like to make use of the whiteboards, Excel, and scrap paper. I like to develop a list of steps for solving the accounting question. My approach is to ask the leading questions to guide the student to the solutions they're seeking.

I'm an accounting graduate of MSU Denver and hold a Bachelor's degree in Business Management. I tutored at the Community College of Denver (CCD). I established my own Bookkeeping, Accounting and Tax practice. I'm an Enrolled Agent with 8+ years tax prep experience. I also use Xero in my practice. I've found it a very easy to use accounting system, vastly superior to QuickBooks.
