"I am a practicing Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. Additionally, I serve as a preceptor for students pursing their Masters Degree in Nursing to become Nurse Practitioners. I am also an Academic Coach for two major universities in their online RN-BSN programs. Courses I coach include Nursing Research, Pharmacology, Health Assessment, Public Health, Care of the Elderly and Disabled, Health Promotion, and Nursing Theory. While in school to become a Nurse Practitioner I worked as an Adjunct Clinical Nursing Instructor for an ADN program. I also taught Electrocardiography in a Patient Care Tech Program. During nursing school I was hired by the school as a tutor for Anatomy and Physiology and Nutrition. I am currently in the process of becoming certified as a Chronic Care Professional.
