"Hi, I’m Jamie — a nurse of 14 years and an educator who’s been in the medical field for over two decades. My background is rooted in Emergency Medicine, but I’ve also worked in home health, GI/endoscopy, and skilled nursing. Most importantly, I’m a college professor who teaches the courses nursing students struggle with the most — Medical-Surgical I-IV, Pathophysiology, Pharmacology, Dosage Calculations, NCLEX Prep, Maternal-Child, and Concept Mapping. I have a knack for breaking complex concepts into pieces that make sense — and once they make sense, they stick.

I believe learning should feel doable — even fun. I teach with humor, real-life examples, and a “let’s figure this out together” approach. The human body is like a machine; when you understand what’s off, you can figure out how to fix it.
