"Hello! My name is Connor, and I'm here to get you on the fastest track to writing, recording, and releasing your own music! My biggest peeve in life is when people say they "don't have a musical bone" in their body; all your bones are musical! Every human has music flowing in them!
I'm currently attending NYU Tisch's Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music, achieving a 3.8 GPA in coursework relating to music production, songwriting, engineering, performance, and music business. I'm continuing to learn from and work with longtime industry professionals (Such as JD Samson or Kenta Yonesaka), soaking up as much knowledge as I can. For the Summer, I am currently interning at Rarefied Recording, one of San Diego's most well esteemed recording studios; here, I help engineer sessions, make critical technical decisions, and provide any other kind of support to the artists who are recording.
I'm proficient in Pro Tools, Logic Pro, Ableton, and Reaper. I have been playing guitar for over six years, and singing for seven.
In terms of tutoring experience, I have consistently worked with kids in arts education situations. I have been teaching and assisting dance classes at a dance studio, working with students from ages 8 to 16. I am currently running theater camps at that same studio for the summer, focused more on acting and singing. I have also worked as an arts camp counselor, guiding children through interactive art creation sessions, fostering creative self expression. Finally, I am currently tutoring my friends on music production, teaching them how to navigate a DAW. All these experiences have equipped me to balance teaching both the technical and artistic sides of all different forms of art, leading students down a path to find their own artistic voice." less...
