"Hello, my name is Lawrence!

I graduated from Stuyvesant High School in 2016 and graduated cum Laude in 2021 from NYU with a bachelor's degree in Global Public Health/Anthropology with a minor in Chemistry. I have a strong background and interest in the STEM field and will be applying for medical school admission in 2022.

When I took the ACT, I scored 34 out of 36, which was the 99th percentile of that year. On the Specialized High School Admissions Test (SHSAT), I scored a 579.

I have been tutoring students on the SAT/ACT/SHSAT/NYS Regents Exams since May of 2017. I am looking forward to sharing all of the test taking strategies that I have learned throughout my own studies and through working with over 90 students since 2017.

I can proudly say that after completing multiple sessions with me, all of my students have seen their scores increase by an average of 200 points on the SAT and an average of 6 points on the ACT. I genuinely believe that my method of teaching, which involves learning test-specific strategies and reviewing real test questions, is highly effective in raising my students' test scores.

Additionally, I am very familiar with the concepts being taught in Elementary, Middle, and High School mathematics and ELA, including Algebra, Geometry, Grammar, and Reading Comprehension.
