"Hello! My name is Emma, and I am a New York City native. I attended New York University’s College of Arts and Sciences and graduated from Stuyvesant High School, NYC’s top specialized high school.

I have over eight years of tutoring experience across a wide range of subjects, including Mathematics and English at the middle and high school levels, AP Psychology, and SHSAT/SAT/Regents test preparation. I have successfully guided over 30 students through the SHSAT, with many earning admission to prestigious schools such as Stuyvesant, Bronx Science, HSMSE, Brooklyn Tech, and Brooklyn Latin.

Beyond private tutoring, I have worked with several tutoring companies throughout New York City, where I’ve taught both group classes and one-on-one lessons. This experience has helped me develop flexible teaching strategies to meet the needs of different learning styles, whether in a classroom setting or individualized sessions.

I scored a 2250 on the SAT (99th percentile that year), giving me firsthand insight into effective test-prep strategies. Over the years, I’ve helped students raise their confidence, master challenging material, and achieve their academic goals.
