"Hello! My name is Caroline C, and I'm a recent graduate from Oberlin College with a major in Theater and a minor in Sociology. I have previous tutoring experience tutoring 7th-9th graders in math at Hunter College High School, a competitive high school in New York City which I attended and graduated from. I currently work as a substitute teacher at Cypress Hills Ascend Middle School. I love working with kids and improving their understanding of the material. I am also adept at test taking strategies, which is reflected in my perfect composite score on the ACT of 36.

I got a 35 on the math section of the ACT. I also attended a specialized high school where all students were taught at least one grade level above their grade. I am proficient in middle school and early high school math, such as Algebra 1 and 2, prealgebra, and geometry.

I got a perfect 36 on the reading section of the ACT, as well as a 790 on the SAT English Literature Subject Test, and a 5 on the English Literature AP exam. I have been a lifelong reader and have experience with taking SATs and techniques for deciphering questions and readings given in standardized tests.
