"I'm Edmar, and I'm a passionate and experienced music instructor dedicated to helping students of all ages discover the joy of piano. With over a decade of experience, I hold a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance from the University of Redlands. While my background is in classical music, I also specialize in a wide range of styles, including jazz, bossa nova, soul, and more.

My teaching philosophy is simple: lessons should be flexible, fun, and tailored to you. I've worked with students of all skill levels, from complete beginners to advanced musicians, including those who are neurodivergent. Whether you want to master the fundamentals, learn your favorite songs, or explore music theory, composition, and improvisation, my goal is to create a supportive and encouraging environment where you can reach your musical goals.

Beyond teaching, I am an active recording artist, composer, and producer. I bring this real-world experience into our lessons, giving you practical insights into what it takes to be a musician today.
