"I am an undergraduate Honors student majoring in Political Science with a minor in Law and Philosophy at Florida State University, with a strong academic background shaped by advanced coursework in reading, writing, and history. Through AP coursework and honors enrollment since elementary school, I developed skills in close reading, essay writing, and historical reasoning which now directly inform how I tutor and support students.

My tutoring experience began through peer support and volunteer work, where I worked one-on-one with elementary students as well as my high school peers in subjects such as writing, reading comprehension, and social sciences. Over time, I developed a student-centered approach that prioritizes clarity, patience, and adaptability. Rather than focusing on memorization, I help students understand concepts at a deeper level so they can apply them confidently and independently. In addition to subject-specific tutoring, I emphasize organization, note-taking, and effective study strategies to help students build long-term academic confidence.

Most of my teaching experience has taken place in individualized settings, allowing me to tailor lessons to each student’s learning style and goals. I have supported students ranging from upper elementary through high school, helping with coursework, essay development, exam preparation, and study skills.

I have written my various test scores here in order to represent my skill level in various subjects. My AP scores are as follows: AP World History: Modern, AP United States Government and Politics, AP English Language and Composition are all scores of 5/5; AP Research, AP United States History, AP English Literature and Composition are all scores of 4/5. On the SAT, I received a 1510 Superscore, with a 750 Reading individual score.
