"I hold Dyslexia Certification from the University of Florida and am trained in the Orton-Gillingham method at the Associate level. With a passion for helping students overcome reading difficulties, I hold a Master of Education in Montessori education with over 25 years of teaching experience. I am currently pursuing an Educational Specialist degree in Special Education from the University of Florida. I will be sitting for the Keepri exam to earn my certification as a Certified Structured Literacy Dyslexia Interventionist (C-SLDI) in December 2025. My expertise and dedication make a meaningful difference in the lives of students struggling with reading and Dyslexia.

I have extensive experience working with students with dyslexia, providing explicit, systematic, and multisensory instruction grounded in the principles of structured literacy. I am trained in the Orton-Gillingham approach at the Associate level through the Orton-Gillingham Academy (OGA), which has equipped me to deliver individualized, diagnostic, and prescriptive lessons tailored to each learner’s needs. In addition, I hold a Graduate-Level Dyslexia Certification from the University of Florida, where I gained advanced expertise in assessment, intervention design, and evidence-based reading instruction for students with specific learning disabilities in reading.
