"I retired from teaching in St. Johns County in 2022 and opted to go on my own tutoring for reading. I have been a resident of St. Johns County since 1991. I am trained in the Orton Gillingham method, which supports phonics, reading, vocabulary, writing, spelling and fluency. I am currently completing my Practicum and am seeking a single student to work with, in person. A quiet setting, such as a public library is essential.

Many of our young learners seek support beyond a traditional classroom, which is why I chose to take this route. I have 18 years in a high school setting, 2 years in a middle school setting and 6 years, most recently, in an elementary school setting.
