To help a student understand something, the key is to make it concrete, relatable, and intuitive. If the explanation sounds clever, then it's no good.

My undergraduate degree was in mathematics and philosophy from Oxford University. I use machine learning (linear algebra, calculus, probability and statistics) in my research.
