I have been a teacher for over ten years in the state of Florida. I put myself through college while working in a preschool with general education students as well as Pre-K students with special needs. While working with Pre-K students with special needs, I also obtained my Masters Degree form USF in the area of special education. I hold other certifications including ESOL, Age 3 - 3rd grade, Autism, Elementary Education, Special Needs K-12. I have worked with students from 6 months - 8th grade graduates.

I think the biggest challenge for teachers is trying to find the method of teaching that works best for each student. Unfortunately, many general education teachers can only comply with 2 or three of the 9 multiple intelligences (that determine how best a student learns).
