"I have a BA in English-Secondary Education from CUNY Brooklyn College, NY, a MA in Education with a Concentration in Curriculum and Instruction from AIU Online, IL, and currently working on my EdD in Education Specialization in Curriculum and Teaching from Northcentral University (Expected Graduation- 2025). My English (7-12), Permanent Certification in NY has allowed me to teach students aged 12-19. Success comes with hard work, determination, and support.

My favorite books are Bonfire of the Vanities, Rebecca, The Learning Tree, The Woman Warrior, and Wicked. I have taught elective classes such as Creative Writing, Murder Mystery, Black Film, and Leadership. Most of my teaching experience has been in the classroom setting and after-school tutoring.
