"With over 4,000 hours of teaching experience, I have extensive experience working with students who need extra support, structure, and encouragement. I have taught Social Studies at both the middle school (grades 6–8) and high school (grades 9–12) levels, and I understand that every learner progresses at a different pace. I also have experience with Economics as well as teaching Reading Comprehension. My tutoring approach emphasizes patience, clarity, and steady growth, helping students build skills and confidence one step at a time.
I have worked with a diverse range of learners, including students who struggle with organization, reading comprehension, test anxiety, or confidence in academic settings. By meeting students where they are, I adapt lessons to fit their learning style and break complex topics into manageable, achievable goals. My background in public speaking, customer service, and coaching further strengthens my ability to communicate clearly and create a supportive learning environment.
My passion for history is broad and enduring, supported by a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of West Georgia and a Master of Arts in History from Liberty University, which I will complete in May 2026. My interest in history began as I observed modern events unfolding and became curious about the forces and decisions that shape the world around us—an approach I use to help students see relevance and meaning in what they are learning.
I am deeply committed to helping students gain confidence in their abilities and develop strategies for long-term success. I look forward to supporting students as they grow academically and discover that they can succeed. Outside of the classroom, I enjoy playing video games, staying active, watching movies, and spending time with my fiancé." less...
