"Hello, my name is Bridgette, and I have been tutoring in math and science for nine years. I received my bachelor's degree from Northern Arizona University in 2019 and my Associate's degree in mathematics from Coastline Community College in 2023. As part of my coursework, I took education classes and was a student teacher. I also worked as an instructor's assistant for Upward Bound Math and Science while getting my bachelor's degree. I currently tutor Elementary Math up to Algebra II, Integrated Math 1-3, CBEST Math Test Prep, GED Math Test Prep, and Science for elementary and middle school students.

My teaching method is to meet students where they are. I focus on student understanding rather than drilling them on practice problems. I ask students questions that guide them through the concepts rather than lecturing them. This method has worked well for me, as many of my students' grades and confidence have improved.

What I enjoy most about tutoring is helping students find their love for learning. Once a student finds the desire to learn and expand their understanding of the world, they become a contributor to society. I also like to make it fun. When a student finds learning enjoyable, everything else falls into place naturally.
