"I'm Sneha! I am currently a fourth-year psychology major at the University of California, Riverside, after recently transferring from a data science major! I have always loved psychology as long as I can remember, and always marveled at how the brain can influence so much of our behavior.I have taken classes in health psychology, behavioral neuroscience, as well as statistical procedures in psychology, research methods, data analysis and more as well! I am also in a research lab where we study cognition and perception in older adults as well.

I used to help my friends a lot when I was taking AP Psychology in high school, and this made me cultivate a love for guiding others and giving them a chance to truly succeed in their classes. I always loved to see the moment when my friends finally understood a concept that was super confusing for them during class, and I hope to inspire you or your student in the same fashion! I love to give examples and I love to ask students to repeat back what I say so that I know that they understood what I taught them. I also like to draw pictures to illustrate pathways (for example, how people see) as I believe that seeing visuals helps in that perspective. For statistics, I would go through a problem, and then ask a student to teach me how to work the problem.
