"As a teacher with 15 years of tutoring and teaching combined, I am excited to have the opportunity to apply my skills and knowledge with every student that I have the privilege to teach. I am qualified to teach and tutor all levels of high school Chemistry, as well as undergraduate chemistry courses including general chemistry I and II, introduction to organic chemistry, and chemistry for nursing students. In my 11 years of teaching AP and Honors Chemistry in the classroom, I have been able to apply real world applications to the often-challenging subject matter. I create a relaxed environment where students can visualize the big picture and concepts rather than relying on memorization. In my early years starting in 6th grade, I found math and science fascinating. I began to see the connection between these two subjects and how they are evident in our everyday lives. My interest grew as I went on to high school and college. Although these subjects are not always easy, I find they have deepened my application for the world around me.
