"I am a professional composer, musician and educator. I have my BA in music composition. I started writing music at an early age, and professionally in my early twenties. I have been playing and writing music for twenty four years, and have been teaching for 8 years. I have taught elementary and middle school bands, at risk youth, adults with disabilities and private lessons for students of all ages.

I believe that music is not only an art form but also a tool for personal development and self-expression. I am dedicated to creating a positive and inspiring learning environment where students of all ages and skill levels can explore their musical potential. My teaching philosophy emphasizes a well-rounded musical education, encompassing technical skills, music theory, and a deep appreciation for various musical genres.

Outside the classroom, I continue to be an active composer, and am involved in various other musical endeavors.

With a patient and encouraging teaching style, I have inspired countless students to discover the joy of making music. My mission is to instill a lifelong love for music in each student and help them reach their full musical potential.
