"I'm a digital painter that has spent over a decade of my life in Adobe Photoshop as well as graduating from Montserrat College of Art with a bachelor's degree in illustration. I'm a determined artist that has a wealth of knowledge to share and give to people wanting to learn how to break into this industry or simply hone a skill for fun. My skillset has allowed me to produce a variety of work for clients such as tattoo designs, sci-fi concept art, natural illustrations and depictions of ancient extinct species, and album covers.

I can provide insight into the fundamentals such as color theory, composition, narrative and perspective. For more advanced students I can get into the technical aspects of technique, how to utilize photoshop, create brushes and texture maps as well as my own personal process tips.

I take a very hands on approach to teaching, I vastly prefer live demonstrations and visual guides in order to get complex ideas across to anyone that I'm tutoring. Photoshop in particular is a vast program where the correct path to a certain effect or outcome isn't always obvious. My goal is to arm my students with the knowledge of how to combine the fundamentals of this program, or similar programs, in order to create leverage and work intelligently. One on one demonstrations are key but giving them tasks to complete outside of our sessions are just as important so that they can get a real "feel" for how each tool and process responds to one another.
