"Hi! I'm Liv, an English tutor with a passion for writing. I graduated from Brown University with an Honors degree in Literary Arts and a 4.0 GPA, and I'll be starting my MFA in Creative Writing at NYU in the fall. I have experience working with students of all ages — from first graders taking their first steps in writing to college students engaging with complex poetry. My goal is to meet each student where they're at, making writing and literature engaging and accessible.

I offer tutoring in a wide range of areas, including essay writing, creative writing (poetry, fiction, and more), and literature. Whether we're outlining an academic paper, brainstorming ideas for a story, or unraveling the deeper themes in a novel, I strive to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and taking risks.

What drives my approach is a deep love for language. I believe that when students connect personally with what they're learning — whether it’s finding their voice in a piece of writing or discovering a new perspective in a piece of literature — their confidence and skills grow naturally.
