"I have always been passionate about learning and teaching math and physics. In middle and high school, I was a laureate in physics and math olympiads, gaining no-exam entry to any university. After earning my doctorate in physics, I spent most of my professional career as a quant and trader on Wall Street.

I have extensive tutoring experience. In high school, I tutored several high school and college students to prepare them for critical exams. I continued teaching in the graduate school as a teaching assistant. Most recently, I helped my son prepare for the ISEE exam and various math competitions such as Kangaroo Math, Math League, AMC8, and AMC10. I am happy to report that he was awarded a Bronze Medal in the International Math League Olympiad and aced the ISEE test, which allowed him to gain acceptance to the most competitive high school in the country.

In my teaching approach, I believe in empowering young minds with problem-solving skills. It is always best when the students discover the solution while tackling problems of varying difficulty. Communication is vital to asses the initial capability of the student and adjust the difficulty to their level.
