"Welcome! I'm Hudson. I graduated from the University of Texas at Dallas with a B.S. degree in Mathematics where I fostered a love for learning and teaching others. Throughout my education, I found the majority of my math teachers and professors to be a bit dry and would typically fail to contextualize the practicality and importance of the math subjects I was learning. As a young tutor and educator, is my intention to bring fresh excitement and purpose to my teaching, and to make mathematics something accessible for every student and every learning style.

I've been tutoring students on all levels, from elementary to college, for over two years on topics such as arithmetic, algebra, geometry, calculus, linear algebra, differential equations, and mathematical analysis. I spent 6 months in a senior-level high school class tutoring Calculus with a specialized approach for the students who struggled. Though, most of my tutoring has been one on one such that I may tailor my teaching to the style of learning the student is most effective at and comfortable with. Mathematics is so much more than just numbers, variables, and logic. It is also abstract like a beautiful work of art, and it is my job to conceptualize the information to the viewer so they can learn how to appreciate it for themselves.
