"I am Irina. I have a Master’s Degree in Mathematics, and have taught High School Math for 25 years, including 15 years of Calculus AB and BC. I am most proud of my success with Calculus BC student's who in my class are required to take the AP test, and virtually all of them pass the exam, with a majority receiving the highest mark of 5. I have also scored Calculus Free Response Questions for College Board, so I know their requirements as an insider. I have tutored throughout my entire career, both in a group settings and one-on-one. I also have extensive experience as a private tutor. I was given The Student’s Choice Award in my High School, an award I cherish the most since it came from my students.

I am passionate about Math, and my students find it inspiring. I instruct by breaking down complex mathematical concepts into simple logical steps. My focus is on understanding, not abstract memorization. I am enthusiastic, supportive, and patient. My instruction is tailored to the needs of each individual student.
