"I love language and history. Therefore, I pursued my BA in English/History & Theology at a small, intimate college on Long Island. While a student at this college and for a year after graduating Magna Cum Laude, I had a wonderful opportunity to work with a diverse population of students writing papers as well as helping them prepare oral presentations.

Then too, working at Molloy College I worked with a wide range of the Hispanic population in the evening helping them become proficient in English. I never just "spouted" rules of grammar since for every "rule" I could give, I could cite the inconsistencies to that rule. I worked with them using recorders to enable them to hear proper pronunciation, rather than just looking at the written word.

After re-locating to South Florida I worked as an associate director as well as a tutor for all age groups at Score At The Top. In the capacity of an Associate Director, I worked with school administrators as well as parents helping to determine tutors best suited to work with students either one-on-one or in small groups if preparing for specialized or standardized Florida tests.

I have my BA in English and History with a minor in Theology and would love to work with students of all backgrounds, crossing a broad swathe of disciplines, if you are in college.
