Part of my tutoring is dedicated to teaching you evidence based study habits so material comes more natural. This enables you to perform better on test day. One of the challenges I see is that students struggle making connections on test day. I can help bridge the gap between studying and test day. Make no mistake, this takes work on your part but you will learn skills that can be applied to nearly any subject! This encapsulates much of my teaching style and philosophy. I want to help you help yourself! I focus on self testing and spaced repetition of studying. This has been shown to be the most effective way to learn. I enjoy teaching motivated students from high school, college and beyond.

As far as my honors and awards as a student, I have been on the Deans List in Fall 2022, Spring 2023 and Summer 2023 maintaining a 4.0 GPA at the University of Colorado Denver. I was on the President List in Spring 2022 while attending Front Range Community College where I graduated Summa Cum Laude - 4.0 GPA.

My background is varied. I had a previous career in accounting/finance where I worked on wall street and also in the agricultural sector. I am currently pursuing a degree in Biology with a minor in behavioral cognitive neuroscience. I currently serve as a learning assistant for college general biology 1 at the University of Colorado Denver where I am able to teach small groups of students learn topics that they are assigned. I am currently on a pre-health track and I enjoy the material found in General Bio 1 & 2, General Chem 1 & 2, human anatomy and human physiology.
