"Hi, I’m Sneha! I’m a scientist, engineer, and educator who loves understanding how everything works—whether it’s atoms, molecules, cells, organisms, ecosystems, machines, or the vast networks that shape our planet and universe. I’ve spent the past several years in the biopharmaceutical and biotech world working on everything from designing bioreactors, to creating and experimenting with organoid models for cancer research, and even on developing lab grown meat! More recently, I worked at the University of Washington in Seattle, where I led a team running novel biotherapeutic workflows and mentored students as they developed their research skills.

Teaching is one of my biggest passions. As a lecturer at the Keck Graduate Institute, I design and teach graduate courses in bioprocess engineering, covering topics like biochemistry, genetic engineering, cell biology, bioreactor design, process modeling, and controls engineering—all with a focus on making complex scientific ideas accessible, applicable, engaging, and genuinely fun to learn. I’ve also taught and tutored students from elementary school through college, and love helping them build enthusiasm and confidence across biology, chemistry, math, and physics.
