"Hi! My name is Sashwatha, and I’m currently working toward my Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering. I’ve always loved learning and helping others understand tricky subjects, which is what led me to tutoring in the first place. My goal is to make learning feel less intimidating and more enjoyable, so my students walk away from every session feeling confident and proud of their progress.

I’ve had the chance to work with a wide range of students over the past few years. I used to tutor English and Math at Gideon, where I worked in person with small groups of students and focused on building strong fundamentals through patience and practice. I also volunteered with Homework Hub, doing one-on-one online tutoring for middle and high school students in math, science, and English. In college, I’ve tutored classmates in subjects like Calculus II, General Chemistry II, and Physics II, helping them prepare for exams and build a deeper understanding of the material.

I’ve also helped students study for standardized tests like the SAT, ACT, and several AP exams, including AP Literature and AP Language, which I personally scored well on. I really try to adapt my teaching style to fit each student, whether that means explaining concepts step by step, using visuals, or finding real-world examples that make sense to them. My students often tell me that I’m patient, encouraging, and easy to work with, and I take pride in that. I genuinely enjoy seeing that “lightbulb” moment when something finally clicks.

If you’re looking for a tutor who’s supportive, easy to talk to, and truly wants to help you do your best, I’d love to work with you." less...
