"Hello! I currently tutor high school students in biology, chemistry, physics and math (algebra 1 and 2, geometry, and trigonometry). I also have volunteer experience as a tutor of reading, writing, and math with adult basic education students. I have taught or tutored in large classroom settings, small groups, and one-on-one.

I have a bachelor's degree in Microbiology and 16 years experience in the medical laboratory. I am fascinated by science in general and biology specifically. It is an amazing world and I would be happy to help you learn about it!

I earned a Master's degree in Technical Communication with a focus on writing, and worked as a writer and editor for 5 years. I can help you learn to write essays and other technical documents, or improve your grammar and punctuation. My goal will be to help you express yourself clearly and compellingly while focusing on your specific issues.

I do my best to make information both interesting and easy to relate to. I am open to different learning styles and will adapt to what works best for you. We will start where you are and go from there!
