I hold a teaching certification from the state of Connecticut, a B.S. in Biology from Ithaca College, and an M.A. in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Connecticut. I am certified to teach Biology, Chemistry, and Earth Science and bring a dynamic, student-centered approach to my teaching.

In my classroom roles at Old Saybrook and New Milford High Schools, I have designed and delivered NGSS-aligned curricula for students across a range of abilities, teaching subjects such as AP Biology, Forensic Science, and Environmental Field Biology. I foster a welcoming environment that encourages inquiry-based learning and critical thinking.

I am an experienced tutor as well, having virtually tutored students in biology since I started teaching.
