"I am Daniel S., a 40-year-old male with a passion for tutoring. I have been tutoring for more than 12 years and have had great success with my students ranging from middle school to college-age, and continuing education adults.

After achieving a perfect score on the Quantitative section and scoring in the 90th percentile on the Verbal section of the GRE (Graduate Record Exam), I began helping friends improve their standardized test scores. I have found tutoring to be an extremely rewarding activity ever since.

In graduate school, I began teaching undergraduate level courses and have continued teaching college level courses after graduation. The college courses that I have taught include: Calculus, Business Calculus, Introductory Algebra, College Algebra, Statistics, and Mathematical Foundations of Informatics. I have also taught Geometry and Algebra at the high school level.

I prefer to tutor one-on-one and enjoy making mathematical concepts more relatable and understandable by introducing real world examples. I like to keep tutoring sessions upbeat and positive, and I have been told that I excel at both being exceedingly patient and explaining concepts in various ways to increase understanding.
