"Hi, my name is Bruno. I am a current PhD student in the University of Colorado's History program. I was drawn to history because I had amazing instructors who had an infectious excitement about their subjects. My goal is to follow in their footsteps to show others how exciting and interesting the humanities can be. My proficiency in history and writing has been recognized through published essays and my participation in the historical honors society, Phi Alpha Theta.

I worked at the Learning Resource Center at CSU Northridge as a Peer Writing Specialist. I would have 1-1 sessions with students to help them improve their writing and make sure it met their professors' expectations. I always made sure they understood what the problems were, how to find them, and how to fix them. I also shared some general strategies that I've learned, that improve the quality of the student's writing.
