"I just graduated from Johns Hopkins University with my bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering with minors in mathematics and economics, with a 3.91 GPA. Additionally, I worked at the Laboratory for Computational Sensing and Robotics as a research assistant and also as a teaching assistant for the electronics and instrumentation course at Hopkins. Lastly, I have led a position group on the varsity collegiate football team at Hopkins for 4 years, demonstrating my ability to effectively communicate and work with others. I've tutored numerous high school students over the last 4-5 years, mostly for ACT/SAT math prep, but also for precalculus, algebra, and calculus topics. With my background in engineering, I have build a strong intuition for mathematics.

Separate from my credentials, I take pride in helping students feel confident, as I believe it's the most important factor for success in school. My process for building this confidence is as follows: we start by working through practice problems, step-by-step, helping me understand how a student thinks about every portion of a problem. I use this information to make any corrections necessary, sandwiched between positive feedback that brings a light-hearted mood to the session.
