"With 12+ years of tutoring experience in the Physical and Natural Sciences, my goal is to uphold and maintain academic excellence for all my students. I am a highly enthusiastic and patient instructor with three degrees in Chemistry, Molecular Biology, and Microbiology, and currently maintain the record as one of, if not the only, person with near 300 credit hours, all in STEM from my university. With the intention of starting my doctorate soon, I understand the importance of effective studying, excellent grades, and critical thinking skills development.

My experience with providing instruction ranges from working with students PreK-12th in Mathematics and Science, and college students as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant for courses such as Genetics, Advance Organic Chemistry, and Molecular Biology, to name a few. What separates me from most Wyzant tutors is my experience and extensive training working with students with behavioral and learning disabilities, such as anxiety, ADHD, and dyslexia. In fact, they are my favorite students to tutor!

Every student is different, and understanding their strengths and weaknesses is imperative for future excellence. Retention is an indicator of success; many of my students continue to seek my assistance, with some even working with me throughout their high school and college journey and into graduate school! Since student excellence and satisfaction is of great importance to me, new students are able to set up a 15-30 minute FREE consultation with me to learn more about their goals, and if we are a good fit.

Whether you, or your student are preparing for the ACT, MCAT, Genetics, or that pesky Orgo exam, I hope working with me can provide you with the confidence and knowledge necessary to excel academically! I will not give you the answers to your assignment; I will challenge you, assist in developing your critical thinking skills, and apply the knowledge learned in lecture hall towards real-world problems.
