"Hello! My name is Nicole, and I currently work as a paraprofessional supporting elementary students in reading, phonics, writing, and math. I have hands-on experience working one-on-one with students who have a wide range of academic strengths and needs, including students with IEPs, learning differences, and those who simply need extra confidence and practice.

I am completing my bachelor’s degree at the University of Florida, where I study Criminology, and previously earned my associate’s degree in Criminal Justice from the College of Central Florida. While my major is not education, my day-to-day school experience has given me extensive knowledge of elementary curriculum, classroom expectations, and effective strategies for helping young learners stay focused, motivated, and successful.

My tutoring style is patient, encouraging, and personalized. I believe every student learns differently, so I adjust my approach based on the child’s needs whether that means practicing phonics step-by-step, strengthening reading comprehension, improving handwriting, or building confidence in elementary math skills. I love helping children break down difficult concepts and seeing their excitement when something finally “clicks.”
