For the past 15 years I have been a very versatile and enthusiastic tutor with a deep passion for helping students build confidence, master core subjects, and develop lifelong learning skills. Whether your child is struggling with reading comprehension, needs support in middle or high school math, or you are an adult learner brushing up on academic skills, I provide customized one-on-one tutoring that meets you where you are.

I specialize in working with children ages 10 and up, teens preparing for academic advancement, and adults returning to learning or preparing for exams. I tutor these subjects: Reading & English Language Arts: Comprehension, grammar, writing, editing, Math: Elementary through early high school (fractions, decimals, pre-algebra), Science: General science, biology, earth science, History: U.S. and World History, government, social studies, and I also offer assistance with Study & Test Prep Skills: Organization, notetaking, practice test strategies.

With each student I make sure to still be patient, positive, and I don’t pass any judgment. I’m excellent at breaking complex topics down into manageable steps. I bring structure and encouragement, especially for learners who need support staying focused or building confidence. Most importantly, I adjust my teaching style based on each student’s needs, whether visual, auditory, or firsthand.
