My BIO: I joined Phillips Academy in June 2019 as their Director of Finance and Comptroller having spent the previous five years at Indian Creek School as their CFO and Associate Head of School. Previously, I served Baltimore Lab School as the Director of Finance and Operations where I created stand-alone financial and operational processes and helped the school spin off as an independent entity, as it had been a division of the Lab School of Washington since its founding in 2000. Prior to that, I served as the Chief Financial Officer for Grace Episcopal Day School where I helped to restructure the school’s business operations by creating and implementing multi-year business and financial plans. I have also served as the Director, Consulting Services for the National Business Officer’s Association. My primary responsibilities included leading consulting assignments specifically focused on school sustainability, leadership and governance, and operational effectiveness; developing and writing best practice standards for school business operations and presenting on various topics at regional and national conferences for independent school professionals. I believe in developing strong infrastructures with effective teams, systems, programs and tools that promote school stability, growth and long-term sustainability.
