"My name is Shannon. I am a patient and experienced tutor since 2006. I have a B.S. in Honors Biology, M.S. in Biology, and M.S. in Sustainable Management as well as a teaching certificate. I have a passion for teaching and helping students with the concepts.

In my tutoring sessions I use Socrates's method. I use questions to draw the answer out of the student, thereby facilitating long term memory instead of instant answers without thinking. I have found my students improve their overall grade this way not just their homework grade. I also help teach the students how to recognize what type of question is being and how to answer that question.
