I am a Spanish native speaker born and raised in Lima, Peru with a degree in Early Childhood Education. I have worked as Spanish teacher in private schools in my country as well in Miami, Phoenix and Atlanta area.

I have more than 20 years of experience teaching my own language to a wide range of school students in the levels of elementary, middle students and high school. I also have experience in teaching Spanish to adult students from all walks of life as well: from business owners, pediatricians, attorneys, college students, and people from many other backgrounds. It has been a rewarding opportunity to see how my students express themselves and speak the language confidently.

I am patient and encouraging tutor. I don’t mind repeating or doing extensive practice until a concept or skill has been understood completely. My approach is warm, supportive, and individualized. I take the time to understand each student’s learning style and goals, and I use engaging, effective strategies to make progress fun and meaningful. My lessons adapt and respond to the student’s interests and level. Whether you need help to improve your Spanish grades at school, or learning a new language for your personal growth, I can always adapt and tailor the lessons to your own goals by using a wide variety of material such as videos, images, grammar exercises, listening practices, roleplaying, games, and so forth.

In addition to my teaching expertise, I have also worked as Spanish/English interpreter /translator in the medical and school settings in the Atlanta area helping non- English speaking individuals or with limited English proficiency.

At the moment, I am tutoring students from around the States thru virtual sessions.
