"My goal is to help students improve their test-taking strategies and support academic success. It can be difficult navigating the challenges of school, and I enjoy helping students connect ideas and reduce the anxiety associated with grades, tests, and essays. As a graduate from Arizona State University at the West Campus, my degree in Communication Studies and minor in Philosophy have propelled me on a trajectory assisting students to move forward through their education with curiosity as well as commitment. I consider myself a lifelong learner and encourage those I work with to discuss not only what the correct answer is, but also how they arrived at their choice.

I have tutored full-time for over two years and in total for more than ten. I have worked with students from kindergarten through 8th, and have access to course materials and core standards for all grade levels including English Language Arts (ELA) and Math requirements. I primarily work with students in high school and help them prepare for college. I have tutored individual students in person as well as virtually, and have also worked tutoring students at their school for both math and ELA.

My teaching method includes setting clear study objectives, actively listening to the student, and providing helpful homework to reinforce students' understanding of academic subjects.
