"Hi! I am a recently graduated Geochemistry Master's student with a love for teaching and learning. I am passionate about all things science; in particular, I have taken courses in geology, chemistry, and physics, and I worked at a museum where I explained concepts in astronomy and aeronautics! I am also an avid reader and I love to write, so I am interested in tutoring in those subjects- specifically for standardized test prep.

I have served as a teaching assistant twice during my undergraduate degree, and I have taught students of middle school age to university age in different subject areas. I am understanding and patient, and I strive to explain concepts clearly and in a fun and accessible way. I would love to tutor students who are looking to better their understanding in the physical sciences!

I have a Master's degree in Geochemistry and a Bachelor's in Geological Sciences and Business Administration, so I have taken many courses in chemistry, geology, physics, math, and statistics. I worked as an explainer at the Air and Space Museum, where I developed the ability to convey scientific concepts to all ages in a clear manner, a skill I believe would make me a great science tutor! I was also a Geology Teaching Assistant for a year at GWU, where I taught over 100 students in a laboratory setting and assessed their assignments and progress.

I love to read and write, and I have been assessed on these abilities throughout my undergrad and postgrad degrees. Namely, I most recently wrote a 40 page Master's thesis which earned a Distinction at the University of St Andrews. Moreover, I have consistently obtained strong scores in Reading and Writing on standardized testing, from the SAT to the GRE.
