"Hi! I'm Yael. I have a BA (cum laude) with a double major in French and English Literature from Wellesley College and an MA in English Literature from Vanderbilt University. I am an experienced, certified teacher with over 30 years of experience teaching French and English (literature and writing) in high school.

I've taught introductory college writing classes, all levels of high school French, from level 1 through AP Language, and regular level and honors English classes; I taught AP English Lit for over 20 years and was a reader for the AP English Literature exam.

As a tutor, I work to find what will best help my students learn, improve, and reach their goals. As a French tutor, I've helped students master grammar concepts, practice speaking, and gain confidence in their ability to succeed in class.
